The anticipated Summer Extravaganza 10K race, a festivity of running to help you set fitness goals or to continue your newfound love for running, is slated for Sunday, July 25, 2021. Preliminary bookings are currently open.
This dynamic 10K track takes the runners on a guided tour through illustrious Westminster, allowing them to pass iconic monuments such as Big Ben, the London Eye, and the River Thames. Along each kilometer, participants can enjoy live music, entertainment, and DJs, making it a true running fiesta.
A Safe Race Experience
The event organizers, LimeLight Sports Club pledges to provide a safe, COVID-secure race experience. The measures might include social distancing, staggered arrival times, pre-race health questionnaires, among other precautions. Moreover, a new COVID-guarantee ensures that registration tickets will be deferred to an alternate event date or format at no additional cost if any changes become necessary due to the pandemic.
The Summer Extravaganza 10K, originally known as the British 10K, is renowned for transforming central London into a runner’s paradise every summer. With live bands and DJs at each kilometer, and cheering crowds along with the city streets, it’s a perfect blend for beginners and an adrenalin booster for the seasoned runners.
Due to pandemic, the 20th edition has been rescheduled for 2021. Runners who had registered for the 2020 event can claim their automatic deferment to the 2021 race edition.
