Alexa’s passion for sports and movement was ignited during her childhood in Switzerland, and her first foray into fitness began with gymnastics and tennis.

Naturally gravitating towards martial arts, thanks in part to her Tai Chi instructor father, she sailed into shaping her dream career. After proving her mettle in the Swiss national team and participating in global championships, Blaze subsequently moved to Malaysia, becoming a full-time Karate professional.

Her passion for fitness didn’t stop there. Blaze wanted to impart the immense benefits of physical fitness she experienced to others. After a few years of aggressive competition, she evolved from teaching martial art and kickboxing workouts to discovering Zumba®. She fell head over heels for Zumba®. Alongside her vigorous lifestyle, Blaze is an ardent follower of daily “out” time. To relax, she takes 30-minute walks in nature, uses foam rollers, massages, dry body brushing, hot/cold showers, and advocates scheduled sleep for optimum body recovery.
