Spending a decade on a whirlwind global tour as a backing singer for world-class artists takes a toll on one’s health, reflecting late-night shows, excessive drinking, fast food diet, and overall physical and mental exhaustion. That was the life recount of a singer who hit a professional high note with stars like Rod Stewart and Rita Ora. By 2016, her health took a nosedive prompting a thorough reassessment of her life and sparking an exploration into alternative medicines, including homeopathy.
Homeopathy, a natural healing method that empowers the body to heal itself, marked the first step toward her life change. It significantly improved her mental and physical health and relieved her symptoms of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Inspired by her transformation and yearning for a career that empowered others, she embarked on a two-year training in homeopathy, nutrition, and life coaching.
Nourishing a New Career
Previously, her idea of healthy eating equated to cutting calories. But as nutrition became an integral part of her life, she found the field entirely compelling. Applying her newfound knowledge significantly improved her life and those around her, convincing her to trade her music career for a wellness journey. An opportunity to tour some far East countries presented a farewell note to her music career.
Upon returning in March, the lockdown was an unexpected gift. The stay-at-home requirement allowed her to practice the healthy lifestyle she yearned for and inspired her to launch her wellness coaching business. She provides individualized homeopathy and nutrition therapy, but ideally suggests a combination of both since diets play a significant role in healing. Her coaching explores a client’s lifestyle, employing homeopathy to help them overcome any mental barriers or past traumas.
Unveiling Balanced Routines
Emerging from the thrill and chaos of a star-studded lifestyle, she has adapted a healthy routine that promotes proper rest, regular exercise, and balanced nutrition. This new routine has restored her energy levels, improved digestion, and enhanced gut health. Every day, she engages in client consultations, analytical tasks, and preparations for her wellness workshops.
Eating for Enrichment
Preferring whole foods, nutrient-dense ingredients, and healthy fats, her diet now fuels her body to function at its optimal level. She emphasizes that timely breaks, stretching, and meditation can counteract stressors and promote a sense of calmness and well-being.
Promoting self-care and social time amid work, she is an advocate for not glorifying overworking. In her wellness journey, she has learned that prioritizing self-replenishment is not selfish, but necessary. Only a full cup can truly overflow.
