Traveling with family can sometimes feel like a herculean task, especially when your companions are your excited little ones. Today, we’re taking you to an enchanting escape in the sun-kissed landscapes of Tenerife, where living becomes an easy breezy affair – Meet the Ethereal Elegance.

As our taxi drove to the resort, the brevity of the 15-minute journey spun my relief into a sense of impending joy. The zero-drag transfer was perfect for my eager children. We arrived at our superior two-bedroom suite and lost no time in sinking into the vibrant Mediterranean cuisine and the mesmerizing live music that graced the atmosphere of the in-house restaurant.

Musical notes and scrumptious morsels later, the rebound energy in my kids catapulted them into their private hot tub. Overwhelmed with thrill and filled with joy, they savored the enchanting sight of the ocean and nearby town, Playa de las Americas, while mommy unpacked and took her much-needed breather.

The Ethereal Elegance accommodations range from family-friendly one-bedroom apartments that sleep four, to the dreamy three-bedroom superior-suite for eight, naturally accompanied by a hot tub. Spectacular ocean views greet you from your private balcony, and the spacious living space and large Kitchenette almost make you forget you’re on holiday.

The kids relished the luxury of ample space to run wild, while I adored the peaceful moments that naturally accompanied. Afresh from the on-site local shop, Sam’s Pantry, we enjoyed our intimate indoor and balcony breakfasts, with my little one even scheduling in his daily afternoon naps albeit against his usual habits.

The full suite of amenities included a well-furnished bathroom, a walk-in shower for the kids and separate toilet and shower space for me, and not to forget, a delightful jacuzzi tub. For entertainment, you find TVs and wireless speakers throughout the living area. I particularly appreciated the provision of a washing machine that nudged away my packing-for-home jitters.

Health and Happiness Under the Tenerife Sun

The Ethereal Elegance offered us a carte-blanche to design our own vacation. The robust activity timetable generously catered to kids, including options to indulge in the Mini Club, tabletop games and physically engaging sports like shuffleboard and darts.

Our days sailed smoothly as we followed a relaxed rhythm – a morning swim, a poolside lunch, a few hours at the kids’ club, and a peaceful exercise routine for me. With two inviting pools, I naturally gravitated towards the tranquillity of the heated option besides the mountainous backdrop.

Despite the lack of a traditional gym, I managed a daily Zumba class, swimming sessions, and a personalized HIIT workout in the spacious living area. The adventurous ones can explore the natural hiking trails around Mount Teide or discover the historical charm of La Laguna.

Topping our memorable outings was a visit to the nearby Siam Park waterpark. With a unique blend of playful joy on the Mai Thai river and uncontained excitement at the Wave Palace, the day ended on an adrenal high.

Nights at the Ethereal Elegance were time to savor the culinary masterpieces at the Sunrise Restaurant. With an extensive menu peppered with healthy choices of fish, lean meats, veggies and to-die-for dessert options, it was a gastronome’s joy.

The on-site pool bar was an ideal spot for a quick lunch – fresh green juice, wrap offerings, and crunchy salads were among our favorites. Local shops were a treasure trove of fresh fruits, and the kids enjoyed their occasional ice cream treats and local beachside tapas.

If you desire privacy, the apartments come equipped with all necessities to cook a homely meal and enjoy a perfect sunbathing session by day. At Ethereal Elegance, your holiday endeavours take precedence.
