From screen roles to radio shows, dance performances to culinary challenges, our spotlight lady shines brightly. She embodies the quintessential essence of humility even in her soaring career graph, attributing her stable demeanor to her joyous childhood and supportive parents.
Passionate about fitness, she fell in love on the dance floor with a professional dancer and together they now parent a two-year-old daughter who has been a beacon of motivation towards her recent fitness guidebook tailored for new moms. The book aims at helping women find both physical and mental strength post childbirth.
By celebrating body positivity, this multitasking maven sets a real-world example for post-baby life. She shares candid moments of her life including post-workout snapshots, indulgence enjoyment, and everyday motherhood moments that inspire many. Her secret to accomplishing so much? A balanced routine. But how exactly does this accomplished woman maintain her energy while meeting robust work demands and nurturing her family? Let’s decipher it in her own words…
We quizzed her on the importance of fitness in her life, “Fitness changes how I feel making me a better mother, partner, and friend. I’m a firm believer in routines and with a toddler it gets challenging to find ‘me times’. Hence, I incorporate working out at 5am before my daughter wakes up at 7am which prepares me to cater to her needs throughout the day.”
Speaking about her routine, she says, “I have a home gym, love Thai boxing for body strength, and make sure to focus on flexibility and mobility. When my partner is home, we enjoy training together.”
On the topic of managing fitness with her responsibilities as a mother, she emphasizes the importance of adjusting her schedule around her daughter. Her daughter even accompanies her to the gym. She believes it’s crucial for her daughter to observe that women can work and excel as parents, drawing influences from her own nurturing childhood.
Her recently released book focusing on post-baby health and fitness boasts her daughter as the centerpiece. It outlines a 12-week plan helping new mothers regain their optimum health. The focus is not only on physical transformation but also on mental well-being.
Touching upon her own nutrition habits, she sticks to a 70-30 rule. She doesn’t restrain herself and enjoys a vibrant diet while also fitting in her childhood favorite — chip tea every Friday. Her philosophy is simple: train and fuel yourself.
Lastly, on self-care, she expresses the joy she finds in simple activities like a hot bath soaked in Epsom salts or savouring good food while at rest. She regards each birthday as a brand new chapter in her life.
She also sheds light on her social media habits, aiming to keep things authentic and avoid unrealistic beauty standards. She prefers unfiltered and candid snapshots helping people connect on a relatable ground. She aspires for her daughter to grow up without the undue pressure of social comparisons. In her own words, “Being myself, flaws and all, is the best way one can be.”
The media starlet, fervent fitness enthusiast and doting mom continues to inspire women worldwide with her candid and balanced approach towards life through both her words and actions.
